Lyman H. Blessman, 84, of Chandlerville, formerly of Mason County, died at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 1992, at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville.

Born Dec. 29, 1907, in Mason County to Henry L. and Sarah Elizabeth Toland Blessman, he married Alice Marie Greb on Feb. 3, 1968, in Chandlerville. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Don of Havana; one stepdaughter, Mrs. John (Emily) Remster of Valparaiso, Ind.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

He farmed in Mason County.

He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Chandlerville and Mason County Farm Bureau.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at his church. The Rev. Philip Ebert will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Lintner-Buchanan Funeral Home in Chandlerville. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Mason County.
