Lena Lippert 1960, newspaper unknown, likely Chandlerville Times, Havana or Jacksonville papers Mrs. Lena Lippert, 88, died Friday, Dec. 16, at her home in Snicarte. She was born in Mason county, Jan 21, 1872, the daughter of William and Anna Meyer Blessman. Her husband, Isaac, preceded her in death in 1943 and her daughter, Belva, preceded her in death in 1945. A sister, Mrs. Ella Kramer, Bath and several nieces and nepheeews survive. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist church and was a faithful member up to her death and also a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge at Snicarte. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hopewell Baptist church with Rev. Verne E. Gerdes of Bath, officiating. Mrs. Olster Parrott and Mrs. Frances Eddy sang with Gerta Jean Parrott accompaning them at the piano. Interment was in Snicarte cemetery with the Lintner Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Roscoe Lippert, Ira Waddell, Owen Kramer, Wallace Smith, Basil Taylor and Lyman Blessman. Those in charge of the beautiful floral pieces were Gerta Fletcher, Arlene Schaeffer, Tillie Kester, Ione Taylor, Mabel Lane and Velma Sarff. Contributed by Judy Ingram Schuur
