Maggie Nall

Maggie Nall, daughter of John and Betty Schoonover, was born in Cass County Oct. 9, 1874 and passed away Dec. 17, 1959 at the age of 85 years. She was united in marriage to Harry Nall at Havana, Ill., on May 24, 1893, to this union the following children were born, W.D. Nall of Rockford, Mrs. Lou Sullivan of Rockford, Mrs. Eva Collins of Pecatonica, and Wilbur Nall.

She was preceded in death by one son Wilby, who passed away in March, 1939, and her husband passed away in 1950.

She is survived by three children and one sister Mrs. Catherine Bishop of Mackinaw; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Nall spent the greater part of her life in Mason county, but had lived the last few year with her children in Rockford. She passed away at the Elgin hospital in Elgin.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec 20, at the Bethel Baptist church at 1 p.m. with Rev. Joseph Hobbs officiating. Burial wa in Bethel cemetery. The Lintner Funeral Home was in charge of services.

Mrs. Lowell Barrett was the soloist and Miss Edna Cawood accompanist. Pallbearers were Henry, Frank, John, James, Harry, Ernest and Earl Nall. Flowers were cared for by the wives of the pallbearers.
