L. Chubby Richardson Peoria Journal Star, March 11, 2007 BATH - L. Chubby Richardson, 59, of 8033 N SR 78, Bath, Ill., passed away at 10:23 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, at Graham Hospital in Canton, Ill. He was born March 28, 1947, in Easton, Ill., the son of Oliver Elbert and Versie Creason Richardson. He married Marette Abbott on July 13, 1964, and later married Debbra S. Pierson on July 4, 1998, in Bath. She survives. Mr. Richardson was a member of Labors Local 231, Pekin, Ill., a log hauler and did construction work. He is survived by one son, Shane (Carrie) Richardson of Springfield, Ill.; one daughter, Amy Jo (companion: Josh Bartels) Richardson of Chandlerville; one step-daughter, Nikki (Phil) Lahey of Springfield; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Curtis (Pam) Richardson of Havana; two sisters, Ann Boyer and Geraldine Thomas, both of Bath; and one sister-in-law, Pam Richardson of Bath. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rodney; and four brothers, John Edward, James O., James H. and George. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Burial will be in the Bath Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
