George Tyler, age 50 years, 10 months and 13 days, died at his home northeast of this city, Sunday evening, November 13, at 5 o'clock, caused by contacting a severe cold while shucking corn. The funeral services were held at the late residence on Wednesday, November 16, at 10:40 AM conducted by Elder A. C. Roach. The deceased leaves a wife, son and daughter, brothers and sisters and an aged father besides a host of friends to mourn his sudden departure from this life.
