MANITO - Pearl E. Zeeck, 88, of 603 S. Washington St. died at 1 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2003, in Manito.

Born Sept. 16, 1914, in Manito to Jacob and Emma Rankin Graff, she married Julius Zeeck in Aug. 21, 1938. He died Sept. 28, 1996.

She also was preceded in death by one brother.

Surviving are one son, Robert (and Kathy) of Springfield; one daughter, Karen (and Bruce) Gustafson of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

She and her husband operated Manito Hardware in Manito for many years, retiring in 1971.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manito and its Tabitha Society.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at his church. The Rev. Donald Hinkle will officiate.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Maas Funeral Home. Burial will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to her church.
