Mrs. Phineas Palmer
d.Aug. 6, 1884
DIED:- In Nunda , Ill. Aug 6, 1884 , an old resident of Nunda and Algonquin.
She was attacked with paralysis, a doctor sent for but without avail. For years she has been waiting for the final
summons, and it was but the going out of the light after the oil has been consumed. She had been living with
her son-in-law A. A. Pettibone, for years. The funeral was held at the house last week Friday, and the remains
were interred in the Crystal Lake Cemetery beside those of her husband. Mr. & Mrs. P. Palmer came to Ills.
in 1843. Mrs. P. was born in Mass. in 1800. Rev. J. W. Millard made some remarks at the house before going to the
grave.
