I was born November 23, 1907. I taught school in the Fairbury area before [marrying] Gridley area farmer, Arnold Otto, Sr., in 1931. Arnold, Sr. passed away in 1944. We had two children, Arnold "Bud" Otto, Jr., Gridley and Gwendolyn Karpos, Texas. I lived all of my married life on the family's farm five miles northeast of Gridley working as a homemaker. I now reside at the Good Samaritan Home, Flanagan.
