Obituary of Mrs. B.H. Adams.
Died, Teusday, September 4, 1917, Mrs. Mary Ann Adams, nee Nance, wife of B.H. Adams, aged 85 years, 1 month, and 19 days. She was married to B.H. Adams in the year 1851. To this union were born seven children, Manerva Jane, George W., Elmina Clarinda, Jacob, Elizabeth, and Lula. They have all preceded her to the other world except John W.

She was converted 60 years ago and joined the Cumberland Presbyterian church at Lebanon, later uniting with the Petersburg Cumberlad Presbyterian church. She leaves a sorrowing husband, one son, one sister, sixteen grandchildren, and 23 great grandcihldren, and a host of friends.

She has been an invalid for five years but she has borne her affliction with great patience and Christian fortitude. She cast rays of sunlight across the pathway of all who came in contact with her. The funeral was conducted at the Cumberland Presbyterian church by her pastor, Rev. E.F. Meier, assisted by Rev. E. Worth, this afternoon. Intermant at Rose Hill cemetery.
