Thomas Holt was born April 10, 1823 in Lancashire, England.
On October 13, 1844 in St Mary, Bury, Lancashire, England, he married Susanna Hitchen, born in 1826.
We believe that Tom had a brother William and a sister Mary.

 

 This stone is hard to read.
It has the following names listed on it:
1st side: Thomas HOLT died March 27, 1888, age 61 years
2nd side: Susanna HITCHEN HOLT
3rd side: William HOLT, born - looks like- 1872

Tom and Susanna Hitchen Holt had 6 children:

1. Thomas Hoyle Holt, b.March 23, 1858, d. September 14, 1910, m. Lillian Morris

They where married Dec. 21, 1882.

Born June 5, 1901 in Hanna City, Peoria County, IL
Died in 1981 in Peoria, Peoria County, IL

 She was married twice.
The first time to Bryan P. Deavers.
She had three children:
  1. Rosella Jane Deavers (She is buried at Cottonwood)
2. Wilma LaVonne Deavers
3. Danny Deavers d. 1924 

  Her second husband was Frank Isbell.

They had two children

 4. Wyman - died as a baby

 5. James Virgil Isbell

 

2. Chester Holt, b. August 23, 1882, married Mamie Van Arsdale

3. Lorena M. Holt, b. August 7, 1890, married James Hutson Bradshaw. She had one son Kenneth.
She had a twin sister who died at birth - Lorina Holt.

4. Frank P. Holt, b. May 10, 1886- d. August 25, 1906 ( Listed on headstone with parents-above)

5. Walter Holt born January 18, 1884 He never married. We called him Uncle Wick.

2. James Holt, b. April 4, 1845, d. October 7, 1896

They had two daughters, Buela Francis (Fannie) and Luella.

 I believe Fannie and Lawrence are probably buried near by.
