The land were the Jones Family Cemetery is located was first owned by Henry W. Jones,1849.
In 1932 the granddaughter of Henry, Malinda Kershaw, sold what remained of the Jones' land.
However, the sale did not include the approximate one acre piece of land that was used for the family bury ground and driveway in to it.

This private cemetery was once enclosed by an iron fence and cedar trees once shaded this sacred ground.
