First Marriages in the County by Township

Akron Township:  In 1833, William Morrow was united with Miss Martha White.
Brimfield Township: Mr. L. L. Guyer and Miss Elvira M. Wiley, Rev. George Wilkison performed the ceremony.
Elmwood Township: Abner Smith to Eliza Ann Doyle, in March, 1834
Richwoods Township: Charles Ballance, of Peoria to Miss Julia Snebly in 1835.
Jubilee Township: Samuel Snider to Mary Jane Stansbury, in 1839
Logan Township: The first marriage was James Harker Jr. to Miss Susan Van Patten in the year 1834
Medina Township: Abner Cooper to Sally Sheldon in February, 1826, near Mossville by Rev. Mr. Cormack, a Baptist preacher.

Millbrook Township: At the residence of C. W. Stanton, December 15, 1837, by Therrygood Smith, Esq.
