First Day and Anniversary
September 2nd9 a.m.- The assembly call was played at the City Hall by Comrade Frank W. ASH and
Ernest B. CLOUGH and eighty of the old comrades of the 77th Illinois responded to the call.10:00 to 12 noon - Spent in shaking hands, registering and decorating with badges.
12:00 Noon - Adjourn for dinner
1 :30 p.m. - Assembly call, by Bugle and Drum Corps in front of City Hall,
1:45 p.m. - The assembly was called to order by Jesse SAWYER, President.
Invocation was given by Joseph N. DAWSON, chaplain of the Association.
Address of Welcome by Mayor Thos. O'CONNOR, of Peoria.
Response to the Address of Welcome was made by Jesse SAWYER.
The assembly then had a recess for 15 minutes.
Called to order, short address was made by the President.
Business meeting was then held.

The Secretary's report was made and accepted by the association.

unanimously elected as one of the musicians of the association.Suggestions were given for the good of the order.
A committee from the Wilson Circle of Peoria, Auxiliary of the G.A.R., solicited a contribution to the fund now being raised to erect a marker on the old camp ground where the 77th and other Illinois Regiments camped in Peoria before they started for the war. The boys responded liberally.
Adjournment for supper.
Camp Fire Program
7:30 p.m. - The assembly called for the camp fire program.
The hall was full to the door with comrades of the 77th and their families and their visiting comrades and friends.8: 00 p.m. - Call to Order.
The call to order was made by Jesse SAWYER and one of the most pleasing and delightful programs was carried out.The camp fire opened with a song by Peoria's greatest soloist, who is a son of a veteran,

Second Day, September 3rd
9:15 a.m. - Assembly was called to order by bugle and drum corps.
9:30 a.m. - Reunion was called to order.- Letters written by comrades were read.
The death roll was read of comrades who died since our last meeting. The taps were played on the bugle by Ernest B. CLOUGH and a most beautiful memorial service was held in the momory of our comrades who died since our last meeting, which lasted untill 12:00 o'clock noon.
12:00 noon- Adjourned for dinner.1:15 p.m. The last assembly call of the reunion was made.
1:30 p.m. The assembly was called to order.
At this last meeting the comrades all made speeches, choosing their own subject. Several speeches were made by the comrade's wives who were present and it proved to be a very enjoyable meeting which lasted several hours. Closing with everybody singing "God be with you till we met again."
