She was born on April 17, 1921 in Jonesboro, Arkansas,
the daughter of Hansel & Carrie (nee Dilliner / Dillinger) Terry
stood 5' 3" tall with brown hair.
she was the grandaughter of William terry who served in the Civil War.
She lived in DuQuoin from 1924 to approx. 1938 when moving to St. Louis, MO.

Served as a Private with WAC Det. Headquarters Command.
She served in World War II in the European Theatre
and at one time, was a driver for General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Honorably Discharged on July 9, 1945 at Mitchell Field, New York.

Rosalie was shot in the head on December 29, 1959,
and although nearly 1/2 of her brain was removed,
she remained very sharp mentally, although paralyzed on her right side.
