Thomas Dorman, farmer, sec. 4; P. 0. Chambersburg. Mr. D. is a son of Lewis and Eliza J. Dorman; born in 1851 in Brown Co.. Ill.; his father is a native of Ohio and his mother a native of Brown Co.. Ill., where Thomas was raised until the age of 15; he then engaged in engineering, and for 3 years followed blacksrmithing, at Hersman Station, then went to Jaques’ Mills, where he worked two years. He was married to Miss America Berry in 1872, she was born in Ohio in 1850. Of the 3 children born to them one is dead. Mr. and Mrs. D. are members of the Christian Church.
