George H. Dunn was born in Morgan Co., Ill., Feb. 28, 1838. His parents, Harvey and Angeline Dunn, were born in N. Y. and Mass., respectively. Mr. Dunn was brought to this county by his parents in 1839, and up to the year 1850 lived in the town of Chambersburg, and then moved on a farm on sec. 5, where he lived until the death of his father in Dec., 1869. He shortly afterward returned to Chambersburg and has since lived in retired life. In April, 1864, he married Miss Susan M. Dennis. Mr. D. is a brother of Dr. Dunn, of Perry. He is a member of the Blue Lodge, also the Chapter of Knight Templars of the Masonic fraternity.
