Andrew Kleinlein was born in Germany in 1820, and is a son of Peter and Martha Kleinlein. At the age of 33 he crossed the ocean and landed in Baltimore, Md.. and followed butchering for 10 months, then worked in an engine house 2 years for the Great Western R. R. Co., and in 1858 came to this county and commenced farming. In 1856 he married Miss Caroline Berceka, who was born in 1833 in Hamburg and came across the ocean in 1855. Of their 9 children 7 are living, 2 of whom are married. Mr. and Mrs. K. have been members of the German Lutheran Church, and he owns 140 acres of good land.
