The Nebo Banner 7 January 1915 From the Nebo Banner, Nebo, Illinois, January 7, 1915 On Wednesday, Jan 6, Mr. Harry Roof of Mason City and Miss Linnie Smith of Nebo were united in marriage at Carrollton, Rev. N.M. Anthiobus officiating. They were accompanied by Francis and Ethel Smith, brother and sister of the bride and Mr. Claud Hayden of this city. They were given a wedding supper by the Ladies of the Baptist Church, at the bride’s residence Wednesday night. The bride is a modest and highly respected young lady. The groom is a prosperous young farmer and had a home prepared for his bride. The BANNER joins their many friends in wishing them a prosperous and happy married life.
