Miss Strubinger wore the dress at the time of the accident. The injured were: Ross Wills, Griggsville, right arm broken, cut and bruised about the head, possibly internally injured. Injuries slight. The injured persons, aside from Richard Moore, were all brought to Quincy on Wabash passenger train due here at 11:25, which train was held over an hour on account of the accident. Mr. Willis and Miss Wilson (sic.) were taken to Blessing hospital when the train arrived here this afternoon. The accident happened at the foot of a grade and it is said the automobile ran into the side of the freight train, turning the machine, a big Hudson car, completely around. The passengers in the automobile escaped certain death by being thrown through the top of the automobile, which was a complete wreck.Mr. Willis was unconscious after the accident and had not regained consciousness after his arrival here. He and Miss Wilson are the most seriously injured of the party, and fears are expressed for the recovery of the two, as it is feared they are internally injured.
