Frederick Franklin ws born about 1814 in New Hampshire. He was married to Sally Shaw 28 October 1833 in Pike County IL. They were the parents of two children, Leta born in 1836 and Levisa in 1842.
Frederick married Jane Allison 4 Apr 1846 in Pike County and 9 more children were born.
Taylor Beatty Franklin, son of Frederick and Jane, was born 28 Jan 1847 who married Priscella Ann Stathem 25 April 1869 in Pike County.
William Drawklin Franklin the son of Taylor Beatty Franklin was born in 1872. He married Mattie Sowers, 30 March 1898.
Gilbert Wesley Franklin, the son of William Drawklin and Mattie (Sowers) Franklin as born 8 December 1898 in Pike County.
Gilbert was married 30 April 1921 to Hallie E. Parks. They had one daughter, Anelda Franklin born 11 October 1922.

Pats relationship with Gilbert Franklin is that Geraldine Ruble was the daughter
of Otis Evans Sowers, the brother to Mattie Franklin.
