David Denton Hull and his wife Susan (Pulliam) Hull
David Denton Hull, born 7 March 1812 in Marion VA, was the son of James & Elizabeth (Kinder) Hull, the original immigrant to Pike County in 1829. David Denton married Susannah Pulliam, the daughter of of Thomas & Nancy (Decker) Pulliam on 9 Jun 1837 in Pike Co IL. They became the parents of 13 children. Both are buried at Hull Cemetery which was started by the death of one of their children.

Cora Hull was born in June 1877, the daughter of Smith & Jane (Delaplain) Hull. She died in 1921. Cora is buried in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Adams County, Illinois. Block F, Lot 83 C

Cora was married to Cornelius Franklin, "Frank" McKee (son of Charles H. McKee and Harriett N. Shepherd) on August 1, 1895. Cornelius Franklin, "Frank" McKee was born in October 1872 in Illinois He died on February 2, 1947 in Quincy, Adams County, Illinois and is buried in Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Adams County, Illinois. Block F, Lot 83


Lula Mae Hull was born on December 19, 1882
in Plainville, Adams Co. IL
She died in October 1958.

She married John Wesley, "Sandy" Hinch
on Feb. 25, 1900 in Pike Co. IL
John Wesley, "Sandy" Hinch was born on July 21, 1877 in Illinois. He died on December 8, 1968. (They were cousins).

Tate Hull was born on November 14, 1820 in Washington, VA. He died on February 23, 1904 and is buried in Kinderhook Cemetery . Tate was married to Anna Elmyra Shenabarger on December 30, 1841 in Adams County, Illinois. Anna Elmyra was born on July 26, 1825 in Ohio. She died on February 28, 1881 and is also buried in Kinderhook Cemetery.

He then married Mary Chastine (featured in the photo) Feb. 18, 1883 in Pike Co.

Tate Hull next married Jane Outcult on September 2, 1899 in Adams Co. Illinois. Jane Outcult was born in February 1853 in Illinois. She is said to have been shot through a window and killed. The Barry Adage carried a story of Mrs. Tate Hull being shot at Hannibal, MO in Dec 1882. They had no children. Lastly, Tate married to Emma Scranton about 1900. Emma Scranton was born in February 1854 in Illinois.
