HOME QUEEN WEST PIKE 1970 The West Pike High School held its annual Homecoming Saturday night, Feb. 4, following the basketball game with Griggsville. Many alumni and former teachers were present to witness the crowning of the 1967 Basketball Queen, chosen by the student body. Miss Judy Wyatt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Wyatt of Kinderhook, is the 1967 Queen. Kristie McNett, the freshman attendant, accompanied by Mick Survance, led the procession. They were followed by Margaret Kendrick, the sophomore attendant, accompanied by Gary Bushmeyer, and Becky Slater, junior attendant, accompanied by Jim Roland. These were followed by the three senior queen cnadidates; Bonnie Johnson, accompanied by Mel Ward; Mary Brown; and Kara Lena Hack, accompanied by Randy H azelrigg. Last year's queen, Carla Smith was accompanied by Tom Vincent. Carrying the bouquet of roses for the queen was Karen Borrowman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Borrowman of Kinderhook. She was accompanied by the crown bearer, David Dolbeare, son of Mr. and Mrs. York Dolbeare of New Canton. Following the crowning of the Queen, a dance was held in the gymnasium.
