Death Certificate for a Mr. Amos who died in the early 1800's in Alexander or Pulaski Co..

I have been searching for several years for more info about my mother's family.  Her parents were John Alexander Roulette and Mary Hayden.  My mother was LaVancha May Roulette, born in 1906 in Pulaski Co.  Her paternal grandparents were John Roulette and Melinda Amos.  John Roulette was Melinda's third husband.  Her first husband was Abraham Bever and her second husband was Joseph Keem who died soon after their marriage.

I am trying to find info about Melinda's family.  She was apparently born in Indiana in 1830.  She had a sister Mary and the census shows she was born in 1833 in Alexander, Co., IL

Their mother was Nancy (maiden name unknown).  In their childhood they living along the Ohio River in Pulaski Co (formerly a portion of Alexander Co.)  In an old letter I learned that their birth father was a Mr. Amos (first name unknown).  It appears that Mr. Amos died

soon after Mary was born when they were living in Pulaski Co.

Can you locate a death record for him??  I would like to know his first name in order to do further research.  After Mr. Amos died, Nancy married Thomas Rhoden and they had a daughter Nancy, Jr.

My husband and I visited the gentleman who owned the house along the river a few years ago but he knew nothing about my family.  He did show us a drawer in an upstairs bedroom which contained old letters and cards left by my family, but none that I saw gave me any clues about the family except for a birth announcement for a cousin Amos Emery Yeigh whose mother was Pearl Roulette and a daughter of John Roulette's twin brother Abner.

Any help or clues you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
