Joshua Abbott married Mary Ann Stinnett, daughter of James Stinnett, 1862 Pulaski Co., Illinois.  They had the following children, known by me: 1. Harriet Jane b. 1863 married __Files 2. James N. Abbott b. 1865 3. Louis H. Abbott b. 1866 4. Charlotte P. Abbott b. 1868 married Wm Holderfield 5. Mary Abbott b.1869 6. Martha Ellen Abbott b. 1870 7. Elijah Franklin Abbott b. 1872 married 1)Ella Turner 2) Della May Eddleman Dick  8. George W. Abbott b.1874 married Effie Billingsley.  Joshua died around 1875.  Mary Ann remarried to William Thomas Dick b. 1851 Arkansas, son of John Dick, during 1876.  They had the following children: 1. Robert Edgar Dick b. 1878 married Della May Eddleman 2. Adam Edward Dick b. 1881 married Ollie Jacobs 3. John W.
