Alfred Leo Brust

Alfred Leo Brust, 77, died on Monday, April 11, 2005, in Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2005, in Crain Funeral Home in Ullin with the Monsignor William McGhee officiating. Burial will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Alfred was born June 29, 1927, in Ullin, a son of Elmer and Fridiline (BAUMGART) Brust.

On April 10, 1950, he married Eloise Elaine Abbott and she survives.

Alfred was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Ullin. Hw was a former volunteer for Ullin Fire Department and  was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He worked as a engineer in construction.

He is survived by his wife, Eloise Brust of Ullin; a daughter, Michele Scott of Springfield; son, Manley Brust of Ullin; granddaughter, Jessica Scott of Springfield; grandson, Justin Scott of Athens; brother, Walter Joseph Brust of Manteno; sister, Norma Hoss of Ullin; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
