Marjorie J. Baugher, 72, of Edwardsville, Ill., formerly of Tamms, died Friday, March 29, 2002, at the home of a daughter.
She was born Dec. 30, 1929, in Pontiac, Mich., daughter of John and Nora Cooley Miller.
She owned and operated Margie's Flower Shop in Tamms 16 years. She moved to Edwardsville in February 2000.
She attended St. Luke's Methodist Church in Maryville, Ill. She was a former member of Tamms United Methodist Church and its Women's Club, and member of Pulaski-Alexander County Home Extension.
Survivors include a daughter, Toni Lipe of Edwardsville; three sons, Tim Pappas of Cape Girardeau, Kerry Baugher Jr. of Edwardsville, Jack Baugher of Tamms; a sister, Sandra Beavers of Wickliffe, Ky.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Due to the Easter holiday, the funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Tamms United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tom Bridges will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
