Sarah (Watson) Brust, 83, of Ceredo, W.Va., formerly of Villa Ridge, Ill., died Saturday, May 14, 2005, at Saint Mary's Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.

She was born Feb. 17, 1922, at Villa Ridge, daughter of Ralph and Mary Hayden Watson. She and Martin Brust were married Aug. 22, 1942. He died Sept. 11, 1983.

Sarah attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Carbondale, Ill.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Bates of Ceredo; two sisters, Beulah Howard of Kalamazoo, Mich., Lora McClain of Mounds, Ill.; two brothers, John Watson and Leroy Watson, both of Villa Ridge; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a grandson.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until the time of service at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin, Ill. Rosary will be Monday evening at the funeral home.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Monsignor Bill McGhee officiating. Burial will be in Eisleben Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
