Vivian Burd 

D.Vivian Burd, 78, of Anna and formerly of Olmsted, died at 11:10a.m. Friday, March 9, 2001, at her residence.

Mrs. Burd was born on Dec. 26, 1922, in Olmsted, the daughter of Byron and Clara Shelton.

She married Herman E. Burd.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Olmsted and a member of the United Methodist Women.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Martin and Terri Burd of Anna & Darrell and Karen Burd of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Phyllis George of Olmsted; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman, in 1988, by one grandchild, by one sister and by two brothers.

Funeral services were at 1p.m. Monday, March 12, at Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds. The Rev. David Shelton and the Rev. Steve Wilkinson officiated. Burial was in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Villa Ridge.

Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds was in charge of arrangements.
