Don A. Carlock

Funeral service for Don A. Carlock of Ullin will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Chapel here. Ronnie Gulley will officiate, with burial in Ullin Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.

Carlock, 77 years old, died Wednesday, June 15, 1988 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 2, 1910, at Dongola, son of Charles and Wanda Freeze Carlock. He and the former Naomi Robinson were married Nov. 10, 1931.

Carlock was a retired painter and member of Painters Union Local and Caledonia Lodge 47 AF&AM.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mary Ann Aldrich Karnes of Dongola; a grandson, granddaughter, three great-grandchildren, an aunt and nephew.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
