Paul Edward Easter

Paul Edward Easter of Waterford, age 76, died, Sunday, December 5, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac. 

Cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions to Mendelson Assisted Living. 

Visitation 4-7 pm Friday, December 10, 2004 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. 

Mr. Easter was born in Mound City, Illinois on August 7, 1928 and was a resident of the Flint area most of his life. He married Joanne Slosser in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Easter was an accountant at AC Spark Plug Division for years, retiring in 1983. 

Surviving are his, wife, Joanne; 5 children, Catherine Easter of England and husband Matt Straw of Minnesota, Constance and husband Jim Creech of Metamora, Cecelia and husband Ted Miller of Davison, Dr. Carolyn Easter and husband John Kolar of Birmingham, Eric Easter and wife Sandee Kelly of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Michelle and Corey Miller, Chelsea and Cliff Straw, Chandler Creech; 2 sisters-in-law, Ruby Easter, Mary Easter; many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Eunice, Evelyn, Berniece and Eleanor; 2 brothers, Robert and Willard Easter.
