Rosie Rachel Helton

Rosie R. Helton, 77, of Mounds Rt. 1, died at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Mrs. Helton was a member of a Pentecostal church.

Her husband, William Archie Helton, one daughter and two sons preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Alice Williams of Mounds; five sons, Robert Helton of Barlow, Ky., Lawrence Helton and Raymond Helton, both of Villa Ridge, Harry Helton of Mounds, and Melborne Helton of Cairo; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. The Rev. Robert Burchyett will officiate. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
