Graveside service for Clarence John Eugene Johnson of Mounds will be held at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 9 at National Cemetery in Mound City, IL., with full military honors by VFW Post 8891 of Mounds. The Rev. Carl Goodman will officiate.

Jones Funeral Home at Tamms, IL., is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Johnson, 72, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2000, at the VA Medical Center Nursing Center in Marion, IL. He was formerly of McClure, IL.

His body was donated to SIU School of Medicine in Carbondale, IL.

He was born Sept. 25, 1927, at Dongola, IL., son of Elzy William and Cora Elizabeth Little Johnson.
