Rosa Lee James, 80, of Cairo died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at the Daystar Care Center in Cairo.

She was born Aug. 28, 1922, in Cairo, daughter of Richard and Essie Howard James.

Survivors include a sister, Marian James of Chicago; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Cairo. The Rev. Matthew Ellis will officiate. Burial will be in Spencer Heights Memorial Park Cemetery in Mounds, Ill.

Algee's Funeral Home of Carbondale, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
