Ira Sylvester Seals



PEKIN, IL: Ira S. Seals, 56, 218 Herget was dead on arrival at 6:15 p.m. at Pekin Memorial Hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Stoner Funeral Home in Ullin. Burial will be in Ullin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Kuecks Woolsey Funeral Home and 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Stoner Funeral Home.

He was born in Ullin on May 7, 1919, a son to Sylvester and Dora Mize Seals. He first married Olive Melvin on May 7, 1948 at Pekin. She died Aug. 28, 1967. He then married Mary McCluskey Oct 19, 1958 at Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Linda McClanahan and Margaret Martin, both of Pekin; one son, Daniel Ira Seals of Pekin; three grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph of Visalia, CA., Osmer of Ullin, and Frank of Perks; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Jones of Hanford, CA. and Mrs. Mildred Stokes of Anna. Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

Mr. Seals was a machine operator at CPC, International. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church of South Pekin, and the Pioneer Club of CPC International.
