Everett Warren

 Everett Warren, 84, of Tamms died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 26, 1916, in Thebes, Ill., son of Scott and Martha Duff Warren. He and Ruby Pankey were married Aug. 7, 1937.

He was retired from the timber business. He was a member of Sandusky Pentecostal Church.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Louise Harp of Tamms, Linda Clendening of Niceville, Fla.; three grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, an infant son, two sisters, a brother, a granddaughter, and a stepgranddaughter.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Revs. Clark Short, Billy Don Heady and Gueary Clendening will officiate. Burial will be in National Cemetery at Mound City, Ill.
