Henry Webb Sr.

Mr. Henry Webb Sr. was born March 12, 1906 in South Carolina. He departed this life at 4:20a.m. at the Day Star Care Center in Cairo, IL. on January 14, 2004.

Mr. Webb was a retired Illinois Central Railroad worker and Maintained and active life-style into his early 90's. Mr. Webb was an unselfish family provider and believed that his children could be successful in any endeavor they chose.

Mr. Webb was an active member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation at the Kingdom Hall in Cairo, IL until his health failed him.

Those left to cherish his memory include: one son, Henry (Jean) Webb, Jr. of Orange Park, FL; two daughters, Mary Caison of Mounds, and Shirley McClellan of Warner Robins, GA; four grandchildren, LaFonda Caison of Austin, TX, Anthony (Santrell) Caison of Raleigh, NC, Karalt Webb of Arlington, VA and Renata Caison of Mounds; three great grandchildren, Nigel Williams of Mounds, Anthony and Bria Caison of Raleigh, NC and a host of other nieces and nephews including a special niece, Mrs. Thelma Hyte of Mounds.

Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother, and his wife, Mrs. Gertrude Webb.

Funeral services were held at 1:00p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004 at Massie Funeral Home in Cairo. Interment was in Green lawn Memorial Garden, Villa Ridge, IL.
