Mrs. Yaryes, wife of Benjamin Yaryes of Florid, Putnam county was buried at Florid recently. She was one of the oldest settlers in that region.

Conrad Young, who died at his residence in Florid in May 12, 1888, was born in Granville and was 25 years old at the time of his death.

On Thursday last, Harry, the only son of Mrs. Addie Young, died of diarrhea and was buried next day. He was about 11 1/2 months old.
(August 14, 1879) Died in Hennepin, July 30, of cholera infantum, Harry, 11 months, 21 days, son to Charles and Addie Young

Lewis Young, 80, a pioneer of the state, died Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lucy Hood, 1020 South Thirteenth street. He was born at Granville, Putnam county, Illinois, November 16, 1853. He came from Illinois to Nebraska in the year 1881 and settled at Sutton, where for 42 years he was a carpenter. Twelve years ago he came to Lincoln where he had since made his home. He is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Mable Jennings of Kansas City, Mo.; two sons E. B., of Little Cedar, Ia., and R. L. of Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 2 oclock Wednesday afternoon at Browns chapel. Interment at Wyuka. (Contributed by Nancy Piper)
