The meeting at Preston's closed for one week, but began again on Friday night preparatory
to holding a quarterly meeting and also to elect trustees and a church committee. Their intentions is, if possible,
to build a church of their own, that they as a body of Free Methodists, can have a house of their own to worship
in. The candidates have been making things warm for the section the last two weeks but who is the lucky man will
not even risk our opinion. There is but little stir about the town officers yet. It is reported that John
