The school sat on the south side of the road on an acre lot. The old intersection is still there, but from the present intersection of the two highways one must go a short distance right to reach the site. In 1874 the school was in Section 32 on Andrew Gates land. In 1894 it was located in the southwest corner of Section 28 on land owned by C. Rauch.
