Helen M. THURWALKER nee LYNCH, 85 of Cahokia, Il. born April 18, 1919 in Willisville, Il. (Perry County) died April 4, 2005, at her grand-daughter Susans residence in Collinsville, Il.
Helen was a member of the Maplewood Park Baptist Church and had lived in the Cahokia area for 68 years.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel Turner PEARL who died in 1944; her second husband, Charles R. THURWALKER, who died in 1987, her parents, Charles C. and Marie nee KILLION LYNCH, and one brother who passed away in infancy.
Dear mother of six children that survive, Sandra (Charles) Groves of Waterloo, Il., Sue Ann (John) Reed of Collinsville, Il., Bob (Barb) Thurwalker of Collinsville, Il., Pamela (Kevin) Bergman of Cahokia, Il., Jim ( Bonnie) Thurwalker of San Antonio, Tx., and David Thurwalker of St Louis, Mo. loving sister of Chuck ( Eileen) Lynch of O'Fallon, Mo., loving grandmother of 16 great-children and 23 great-grandchildren, dear aunt and cousin.
Burial was at Mount Hope cemetery, Belleville, Il.
Jessie Lorene nee WRIGHT BRADLEY 88 of Collinsville, Il died Oct. 13, 2004 at her residence. She was born March 30, 1916 in Willisville, Il. (Perry Co.)
Her husband of 67 years Clyde R. BRADLEY survives. Her daughter, Linda K.FUNKHOUSER of Collinsville, sister, Kathryn PEARL of St. Louis, 2 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 1 nephew, 3 nieces also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dora nee CROW WRIGHT, one granddaughter, one nephew, one neice and one brother-in-law.
Burial in St. Johns Cemetery, Collinsville, Il.
