Albert ALEXANDER lived in Mascoutah for the past 50 years, the last 2 years of his life were spent in a nursing home in Belleville, Illinois. He was a retired Coal miner. Albert was born on, 11 Apr 1865, in England. He died at the Athenian Nursing home on Sat. Morning, 25, Mar. 1944, Belleville, Illinois. He was the son of John ALEXANDER and Sarah TINKER John’s first wife. Amos Alexander Son of Albert Alexander & Tillie Conklin
born: Sept. 15, 1901 in Mascoutah, Illinois
died: Feb. 22, 1981 at the Marka Nursing home, Mascoutah, Illinois.
Amos was a retired coal miner and retired custodian for the Mascoutah Community High School.
He married Anna Siroky in Belleville, Illinois on Jan. 14, 1926. They lived at 213 N. Jefferson, Mascoutah, Illinois.
He had one son Robert Alexander who lived in Evanston, Illinois.
He was buried on Sat., Feb. 28, 1981 at the Mascoutah City Cemetery, Mascoutah, Illinois.

William ALEXANDER. Was a resident of O'Fallon, Illinois for more than 53 years. He was a retired coal
miner. William was born on Jan. 25, 1867, in Castleford/Yorkshire, England. He emmigrated to the
United States at 12 years' of age.
He married Frances LAQUET on May 22, 1889 she preceded him in death, on Sep. 29, 1916.
He died on Mar. 23, 1932, age 65, at the residence of his daughter Mrs. Frank COWLEY, 320 E. State
St., O'Fallon, ILL. His father was John ALEXANDER and his mother: was Sarah PINKER / TINKER this was
John's first wife.
He is buried at Shiloh Valley Township Cemetery, Shiloh Illinois.

Harry ALEXANDER a custodian, at Ben Bluett High School in St. Louis, Mo. Died yesterday (Wed.), 9th of
Oct 1935 at his residence on 3632 Blaine Ave. St. Louis, Mo. He was born in Yorkshire, England and
emmigrated to the United States at 10 year's of age. On Aug. 5, 1889 he married Nellie BOGGY in
O'Fallon, Illinois. He was the son of John ALEXANDER and Sarah TINKER/ Pinker (d. in England).
He will be buried Saturday afternoon, 12th Oct. 1935, at the Shiloh Valley Township Cemetery, Shiloh,
Illinois.

After months of suffering. Mrs. Emma Alexander passed away at her home early Sunday morning, aged 62
years. The deceased was born in England and came to this country 28 years ago, spending most of her
time in this country as a respected resident of O’Fallon.
She was an active member of the M. E. Church since 1896. And also a worker for the Pythian and
Pocahontas Lodges to which she belonged.
She leaves to mourn her departure on ebrother, William Gill at Durango, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. John
Neville by her first husband James Bryan; and six children by her second husband John Alexander, who
died 12 years ago July 17th. They are Mrs. Jule Bernum, Mrs. Wm. Guest, Mrs. George Bowler and Walter,
George and John; also stepsons Albert Alexander of Mascoutah, William Alexander of our city, and Harry
Alexander of St. Louis.
The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon from the residence to the M. E. Church where services were
held; thence to the Tiedemann Cemetery. The funeral was largly attended.
