Samuel Turner Pearl of 333 Range Lane, Maplewood, Ill. entered into rest Sunday Jan 23, 1944.  He was 28 years, 10 months and 15 days old.  He was born in Jonesboro, Union County, Illinois on 8 March, 1915 to Adam A. and Effie Turner Pearl.  He married Helen Marie Lynch in Willisville, Perry County, Illinois, on 29 May, 1937.  He was employed as a Brakeman for the G. M. and O. Railroad.

Burial will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Belleville.  Sedlack Brothers has charge.
