HENRY HOWARD 82, OF 124 E.PLEASENT RIDGE RD, COLLINSVILLE, DIED AT 3:30PM FRIDAY. HE HAD BEEN ILL FOR 3 YEARS.
SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 2PM MONDAY IN THE HERBERT A. KASSLEY FUNERAL HOME, WITH THE REVEREND R.H. MORNHINWEG OFFICIATING.
MR.HOWARD RETIRED IN 1941 AFTER WORKING MOST OF HIS LFE AS A MOTORMAN FOR THE E.ST.LOUIS INTERURBAN BUS CO.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE FIVE DAUGHTERS, MRS VICTOR(LEONA) KRIETEMEYER OF COLLINSVILLE, MRS.WARREN(DELLA)SPENCER, MRS.RUSSELL(STELLA)
WIESEMEYER, MRS.EDWARD (ELLA) FREY, AND MRS.EARL(DOROTHY) FAITZ, ALL OF TROY, THREE SONS GEORGE HOWARD OF DECATUR,
ELMER J. HOWARD OF COLLINSVILLE, AND HENRY J. JR. OF BELLEVILLE, A BROTHER WILLIAM OF COLLINSVILLE , 21 GRANDCHILDREN

AN APPARENT HEART ATTACK. FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE PENDING. SEDLACK HAS CHARGE.
A NATIVE OF SHAWNEETOWN, IL,MR.LOCKLAR LIVED IN EAST.ST.LOUIS FOR 36 YEARS.

Joseph King
dies at 78
Belleville News Democrat

The funeral services for Joseph King will be held Tuesday at 1p.m. at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ in
E.St.Louis with the Rev. Leon Jones officiating.
Burial will be at Mt.Hope Cemetery in Belleville, Il. Friends may call after 3 pm, at the Robbins Funeral Home
on Tuesday.
Mr. King died Friday at 10:15 a.m. of a lingering illness in Centreville Township Hospital. He had been in the
Hospital for four days.
Born in Farmington,Mo., he lived in E.St.Louis for 30 years. He had retired as a sand blaster 10 years ago.
Survivors include: his wife Ethel, four daughters: Mrs. Betty Trail of Belleville, Ruthann, Sunday, and Rachel
King, all of E.St.Louis, and six sons: Roy, Fred, Glenwood, Walter, and Harvey, all of E.St.Louis, and Hubert of
Collinsville. His mother Martha Kelly also survives him, as well as a brother , Walter of California, a sister
Margaret King of St.Louis, and a number of grandchildren....Donated by Billie Trails

Woman, 104, Dies, Outlived Children

Mrs. Martha Kelly, one of the oldest residents of St.Clair county, died at 8:15 p.m. at Christian Welfare Hospital.
Mrs Kelly would of been 105 March 10. She resided with her friends, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron McDowell on Minnesota Ave.
in E.St.Louis.
A native of Little Rock Arkansas, she has resided here in E.St.Louis for 50 years.
Proceeded in death by her husband, William in 1951, and 12 of her 13 children. She is survived by a son, Walter
Kelly of Phoenix Arizona, 15 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Arrangements
are incomplete but the funeral will be at Robbins Funeral Home in E.St.Louis, on Wednesday....Donated by Billie

William Kelly Dies Here

William Kelly, 80, of Michigan Ave., died at 7:30 am today in St.Mary 's Hospital whre he had been a patient four
days. He had been ill for three months. A native of Ireland, Mr. Kelly lived here 75 years. He drove a horse for
the old Polar Wave Co. for 35 yrs., until 1928, since then he has been at odd and end jobs.
Mr. Kelly is survived by his widow, Martha, a son, James; two step-sons, Joe and Walter King; a step-daughter,
Margaret Heckman, 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 9a.m. Monday at St. Phillips Church. Robbins has charge. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery....Donated
