Phillip F. Wittenbrink, 72 year old retired bricklayer of 105 Homestead Street, O'fallon, died at 7:30 o'clock last night at Memorial Hospital following an illness of two years.  He entered the hospital on Monday.   He was born in Evansville, IL, October 5, 1887, a son of the late Phillip and Mary Wittenbrink.  He married the former Ida Mary Holliday in Belleville 52 years ago.  Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Marie, wife of Joseph Kiemel, Caseyville; two sons, Raymond L., and Willard H. Wittenbrink, both of RR 1, O'fallon; a sister, Mrs. Frances Tenting, 5 Stratford Way, and a brother, Frank Wittenbrink, East St. Louis; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  The funeral will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday from the Burke Funeral Home, East St. Louis, to St. Philip's church, French Village, for a Mass at 9 o'clock.  Msgr. John Fournie, pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, French Village.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 8 o'clock tonight...Donated by Becky S. Raymond Lester Wittenbrink, 64, of Route 1, O'fallon, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital, Belleville.  Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Schildknecht  Funeral Home, Fairview Heights.  Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. today.  Survivors include his wife Louise Spicer Wittenbrink; his mother Mrs. Ida Holliday Wittenbrink of O'fallon; a son Phillip R. at home; a sister Mrs. Joseph (Marie) Kiemel of St. Louis and a brother Willard of O'fallon.  He was a retired employee of the old East St. Louis works of the Aluminum Co. of America, and was a custodian at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, at the time of his death.  I believe it might be July 15, 1973)...Donated by Becky S. Willard H. Wittenbrink, 75, of O'fallon, Ill, born November 9, 1918, in Belleville, Ill., died Thursday, Feb. 3, 1994, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Il.  He was a retired stock clerk at Scott Air Force Base Commissary, and was formerly employed by Luja's Nursery in Fairview Heights, IL., and Alcoa Aluminum; a member of American Legion Fisher-Sollis Post 137, National Allegiance of Government Employees, VFW Post 805, a faithful supporter of the Disabled American Veterans and the Salisian Missions, and was a World War II Army veteran.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip F. and Ida Mary, nee Holliday, Wittenbrink; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond L. and Louise Wittenbrink, and a brother-in-law, Joseph Kiemel.  Surviving are his wife, Esther, nee Miller, Wittenbrink of O'fallon, Ill., a son, Bill Wittenbrink of Simi Valley, Calif; three daughters, Barbara Wittenbrink of O'fallon, Il., Pattie and husband Don Mattingly of Eureka, MO, and Mary Ann and husband Joe Pado III; a sister, Marie Kiemel of Collinsville, IL; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a niece, Norma and husband Jack Hanratty of Collinsville, Ill.; and two nephews, Jim Kiemel of Fairmont City, Ill., and Phillip Wittenbrink of Swansea, Ill.  Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday, Feb. 7 at St. Clare Catholic Church in O'fallon, Ill., with the Rev. Donald Eichenseer officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fairview Heights, Il.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 pm Saturday and from 2 to 9 pm Sunday at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Kiemel, nee Wittenbrink, 85, of Collinsville, Ill., born Monday, Sept. 2, 1912, in Belleville, Ill., died Sunday Feb. 22, 1998 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.  She was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Anthony Kiemel; her parents, Phillip F. and Ida, nee Holliday, Wittenbrink, and two brothers.  Surviving are a daughter, Norma Lee Hanratty of Troy, Ill.; a son, Jim Kiemel of Fairmont City, Ill., several nieces and nephews; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill., with Father Robert Morris officiating.  Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.  Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association...Donated by Becky S.
