An open house will be held to honor Bill and Joyce Kubatzke of Freeport in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. Friends and relatives are invited to join them from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 18 at the Freeport Eagles Club. Refreshments will be served. The couple requests the omission of gifts. Cards may be sent to the couple at 2356 Swan Drive, Freeport IL 61032. Joyce Meinert and Bill Kubatzke were married Jan. 3, 1959, at Winneshiek Church in rural Dakota.
