GLEE HAMMON
![]() Funeral services for Glee Hammon, 57, Jonesboro, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Norris and Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro. He was dead on arrival Saturday at Union County Hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was a custodian at Anna Jonesboro High School and former superintendent of Public Ice Service of Anna for 25 years. Mr. Hammon was a member of the Bass Club. He was born March 8, 1916, in Jonesboro to Harvey and Men Frick Hammon. He married the former Cecil Brown Sept. 12, 1936, in Murphysboro. Surviving are his wife; his mother; a son, Donald W. of Buncombe; two sisters, Opal Harrison of Fairland, Ind., and Alpha Barron of Azusa, Calif.; a brother, Edward of California; and two grandchildren. The Rev. Waller M. Bartels will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
