VERNA HANCOCK



MRS. VERNA HANCOCK, 47, OF COBDEN, DIES
Mrs. Verna M. Hancock, 47, Rt. 3, Cobden, died Saturday at home after a long illness.  She was born in Union County, Aug. 6, 1915, the daughter of Logan and Ollie Rhodes Winn. 
She leaves her husband, Charles; son, Gene of Granite City; mother, Mrs. Ollie Winn of Cobden; sister, Mrs. Glen Moort of Cobden and two grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Methodist Church of Jonesboro, with the Rev. Earl Black, the pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call at the -Morris and Son Funeral Home, Jonesboro.
