Lucille Carson, 82, of Darien, formerly of Anna, Ill., died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Ill.

She was born Feb. 10, 1919, at Anna, daughter of Ira and Rose Leora Bostain Colboth. She and the late Clarence "Kit" Carson were married June 29, 1950. He died March 12, 1986.

She was a laborer in a camera factory. She was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Bill D. Hammon of Woodridge, Ill.; two grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 4-7 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bill Darnell will officiate with burial in St. Johns Cemetery.
