MAE MOWERY
ANNA, IL - BEULAH MAE
MOWERY, 100, departed this life at 1 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2009, in City
Care Center in Anna.
She was born May 21, 1908, in Balcom, the daughter of Charles and Ora
Brown Lingle. She married Glenn A. Mowery on July 23, 1927. He preceded
her in death May 22, 1987.
Beulah is survived by a son, Wayman and wife, Betty Mowery, of
Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Glenna Watkins and Pauline Musgrave,
both of Anna; daughter-in-law, Elois Mowery; 12 grandchildren; 19
great-grandchildren; 27 great great-grandchildren; two
stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; four
stepgreat-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn A. Mowery;
her beloved son, Leroy; a grandson, Shawn Watkins; a great-grandson,
Kyle Mowery; a great-great-grandson, Dakota Harris; a son-in-law,
Vernon Watkins; and stepgreat-grandson, Jorden Horner.
Beulah was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nachusa. She was a
homemaker all her life.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009, in St. John
Lutheran Church in Dongola, with the Rev. Tim Heinecke officiating.
Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to
8 pm. today at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
