CHARLES E. NORRIS, WEST FRANKFORT, DIES
Charles E. Norris, 73, of 408 W Poplar St., West Frankfort, died at 8:50 p.m. Sunday in Union Hospital, West Frankfort.  He had been ill for the last month.
Mr. Norris was a retired Central Illinois Public Service Co. employee with 49 years of service in this area.  
He was born July 13, 1897, in Anna, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Norris.  His wife,
Golda, died in January, 1969. 
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Brown of West Frankfort; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Vaughn of Anna; and two
grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
Wednesday at the Stone Funeral Home, West Frankfort. The Rev. Arthur Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Friends may call after
4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
